Introduction
I'll start off by saying I'm pretty humble and naive for the most part. I stumbled upon this challenge, the foundation for Watson Engineering and the Engine that will drive Watson Philanthropies, about 11 or 12 years ago while the Amazon Headquarters building was under construction in Seattle, WA.
I faced a significant battle with PTSD from roughly 2016 to 2024, putting everything in my life on hold. An epic battle, as I refer to it, that I nearly lost. Now I’m ready to resume my passions for people and change.
I grew up around construction, graduated with an Aerospace Engineering degree from Texas A&M University, then went on to pursue an Executive MBA with the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.
